RF Performance Evaluation Procedure

The RF Performance Evaluation Procedure was created by the LoRa Alliance Certification Committee to harmonize the approach of measuring the TX and RX performance of devices on a LoRaWAN network. It is used by authorized test houses and other parties.

The transmission performance is measured in Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP) and recorded as a full 3D-radiated power pattern.

The received performance is measured by reducing the power transmitted to the device and then detecting the point that the product reached a PER of ten percent, with measurements performed on both the RX1 and RX2 windows.

Tested devices are displayed on the LoRa Alliance website.
