LoRa Alliance Certification Test Tool
The LoRa Alliance Certification Test Tool (LCTT) is a precertification and regression testing tool developed by the LoRa Alliance for members to use as a means of validating their devices and accelerating the formal certification process. The key characteristics of the tool include:
- Can be used at the device manufacturer’s own facility.
- Runs on a local PC with a local LoRaWAN gateway.
- Includes two modes of operation: debug mode and precertification mode.
- In debug mode, the test scripts can be modified and the tool can generate and send MAC commands to the device under test (DUT).
- In precertification mode, the same tests used for full certification are run automatically, with no need for manual intervention.

Note
The LCTT uses a low-cost, eight-channel gateway. There are some tests included in the full certification test suite that are not possible with the LCTT.
