Messages sent from an end device to a network server via one or more nearby gateways are referred to as uplinks.

Sending MAC Commands

Link Check Request (LinkCheckReq)

The LinkCheckReq MAC command is sent by the end device to verify its connection with the network. The network server responds with the LinkCheckAns MAC command. The handling and processing of MAC commands is described in the chapter Handling MAC Commands of the Receiving Messages Book.
